Gault&Millau's review 2025

Strasbourg's first eco-responsible hotel, Tandem claims its approach right from its name, in homage to the Little Queen and the 600km of bicycle paths in and around the city. As warm as it is virtuous, this refuge unfolds around 70 rooms (named Échappée, Peloton or Tandem, depending on the category) as cozy as they are dapper, in shades of green, blue or powder pink. All offer micro-filtered water and organic teas, and are equipped with recycling garbage cans to encourage kind gestures towards nature. On the first floor, a large openspace is organized around coworking spaces and an eco-responsible restaurant where you can feast on organic and local produce, all with a zero-waste approach. Just around the corner, the bar and wine library also reflect the local spirit, with nuggets such as gin from the Strasbourg distillery and a remarkable selection of Alsace wines.
