On the lovely Place Thiars with its fountain, Le Coquilles not only enjoys a prime location, but also proves that it doesn't rest on its laurels, honoring its privilege with an obvious effort on the plate. The immense terrace is the ideal setting for cuisine that is certainly touristy, but serious: mayo eggs with bottarga, carpaccio of lean fish, stracciatella and nduja, mussels with marinière cream, skate wing Grenobloise-style, grilled pollack, cabbage embeurrée, shellfish bisque, salmon roe and chili oil, chocolate profiteroles.
