Gault&Millau's review2026
Amid the hustle and bustle of the Place aux Huiles, where bars and tourist attractions share one of the city's most beautiful spaces, Les Arcenaulx is an intellectual address. It's a strange chimera, half-table, half-bookshop, where the pleasures of taste are replaced by the pleasures of the mind. Sybarites will appreciate the elegance of the premises, with a few tables amidst the shelves, where you can discover Éric Cornilleau's classic, serious cuisine: Provençal stuffed vegetables, artichoke papeton, bacon emulsion, raw artichoke carpaccio, monkfish blanquette with morel mushrooms and winter vegetables, guinea fowl stuffed with herbs and ewe's milk, Arcenaulx tarte tatin. Behind the bookshop, you'll also find a delicatessen corner, with a selection of wines and local produce.
