A Relais & Châteaux property and a 5-star hotel housed in an 18th-century hunting lodge, the Château de Germigney is a remarkable destination featuring a luxury hotel, a wine therapy spa, and a magnificent vaulted hall. The venue is designed to offer an exceptional stay in the heart of the Jura region, which can be complemented by a delightful dining experience at Stefano Ciabarri’s restaurant. The chef creates high-quality gourmet cuisine using premium ingredients and seasonal recipes. We’d return for the appetizer of oysters, white asparagus, almonds, watercress, and smoked peas; the ravioli with morels and green asparagus; the red Mazara shrimp; a pigeon breast with Swiss chard, dandelion greens, and raisins in verjus; Montélimar nougat sauce, and a dessert featuring strawberries and shiso. Good service.
