Gault&Millau's review 2025

Surrounded by a hectare of parkland filled with tall trees, this 17th-century residence is owned by Nicolas and Laurence Zugno, who have turned it into one of the region's most sought-after stop-off points, aptly awarded 5 stars in January 2023. The credit goes to the 9 rooms, each with its own charm and personality (Scandinavian spirit, classic with wood panelling on the walls...), most opening onto the Jura hills. Keen to offer their guests the very best, Laurence and Nicolas have recruited the young and (very) talented Quentin Defert, who offers bistronomic and regional cuisine, served in two ultra-chalantine rooms and, as soon as the weather warms up, on the terrace overlooking the park. There's also a swimming pool, a panoramic spa with Gemology treatment rooms, and the LumiPod, a prefabricated living module housing a bedroom with a 180° view that breaks the boundaries between indoors and outdoors. A unique, immersive experience in the heart of nature.
