It's an attractive address, with a charming stroll to the old village of Mougins, and a bohemian chic decor and huge terrace that add a touch of glamour. The service is attentive, the menu appealing, and Polmard's top-quality meats, matured and cooked over embers, are enough to justify the trip. But what would a restaurant be without the added value of a chef? Bohème is lucky enough to have two, or even three with the pastry chef, and this trio is no slouch when it comes to delight. Peruvian chef Manuel Rondan Jesus Rodriguez's milk-fed veal tiraditos and trout ceviches dialogue with chef Doryan Despaux's pâtés en croûte, kidneys and sweetbreads, while pastry chef Grégory Sordillon's tomato soufflé literally leaves you speechless. The cellar is robust, almost intimidating, with a good depth of references. A small selection of wines by the glass is offered at reasonable prices.
