Gourmet Restaurant A pretty, modern bistro that does, of course, make burgers and fish and chips, but which knows how to give them style and attention, and extends its knowledge to well-turned-out basic plates: beef cheek confit in red wine, cabbage stuffed with sweetbreads and stock, hake back Jerusalem artichoke mussels and samphire, 5A andouillette with old-fashioned mustard sauce... A contemporary take on traditional dishes, with eggs meurette or pressed pig's ears as starters, caramel beurre salé French toast or profiteroles for dessert. Drink gently from a cellar of small, inexpensive and very drinkable skittles.
