Gourmet Restaurant Labeled Top Chef, Pierre Eon, ranked 4ᵉ in 2016, is on the other hand well and truly on the podium of the very gourmet rue Nantaise. In his semi-open kitchens, he always has an eye on the dining room and his many friends (didn't he subtitle his sign "restaurant de copains"?) and it's not uncommon for people to come up and slap him on the kisser. In a simple, contemporary spirit, but with a layout that encourages conviviality, the comfortable place is not intimidating. The short menu reflects the spirit of the times, inspired by the market. The Jerusalem artichoke velouté is not only comforting, but also highly aromatic! The perfect pollack, protected by a fine cashew nut crust, is orientalized with a spicy carrot declension. Finally, it's impossible not to succumb to the gourmet vanilla cabbage, which is slightly crunchy on top. While the wine list is not excessive, it is consistent with the cuisine and qualitatively interesting: Meursault from domaine Parigot; muscadet from domaine Landron; menetou from chez Clément; châteauneuf-du-pape from domaine Durieu...
