Prestige Hotel LeCoq-Gadby is above all a family affair. Indeed, it all began here in 1902 when Pierre Gadby opened reception rooms in this beautiful half-timbered house on Rue d'Antrain. Each subsequent generation helped to embellish the premises, until Véronique and Jacques (4th generation) decided in 2008 to extend the historic building and convert it into a hotel. While the house has retained its Directoire wood-panelled dining room, the 16 rooms and suites now combine family furnishings with contemporary objects, all orchestrated by Mathilde, designer and eldest daughter of the owners. As for the restaurant, the family is once again at the forefront, with Véronique and Jacques' son Charles officiating in the nearby kitchens in Châteaubourg, which supply both the hotel's table and the catering service developed by LeCoq-Gadby. Just a few minutes from the center of Rennes, this warm and comfortable address also boasts a spa with an indoor pool, sauna, hammam and three massage cabins.
