Gourmet Restaurant The reputation is long-established, the chef has the know-how, and the château setting on the outskirts of the city is quite impressive, with easy access from the ring road. And the people of Tourange, whether on business or with their families, remain loyal. All the more reason to hope for a new energy to give this classicism a new lease of life. Maximilien Bridier has what it takes to restore the lustre of his chicken broth, mushroom ravioli and foie gras, a little bland, with grilled scallops, ragoût de cocos de Paimpol, cockles, lard paysan or baba aux épices, marmelade citron, granité d'une infusion bergamote, certainly well executed, but not reaching the promised 2 toques. A large, beautiful Loire cellar, run by a talented sommelier, Stéphane Benoît, who has been with the company for thirty years. The establishment underwent a major renovation campaign and reopened in its new clothes in June 2024.
