Prestige Hotel Opening in 2020, Loire Valley Lodges is the brainchild of Anne-Caroline Frey, an art and nature enthusiast determined to combine her two passions. The gamble paid off with 18 ultra-chic lodges designed by contemporary artists and set in the heart of a 300-hectare private forest. The perched cabins infuse a bright, arty atmosphere, with contemporary artworks, king-size beds and large picture windows that give the impression of sleeping in the trees. No screens or Wi-Fi here, just a walkie-talkie to order room service or book a treatment (practiced in the lodge for true sensory immersion). Unless you'd prefer to head for the old farmhouse, which houses a swimming pool, a bar-library warmed by a fireplace, or the Ardent restaurant, now headed by Thomas Besnault. An exceptional address that reconciles nature, well-being and contemporary art.
