Remarkable Restaurant It's a blessing for Issoire and the surrounding region to be able to enjoy such an attractive restaurant, blending the contemporary in an old building, with taste and sobriety in a rather refined decor. The same is true of Dorian Van Bronkhorst's ovens, where he happily blends meticulously-prepared local cuisine with his Dutch origins to offer an original, seasonal menu: Dutch eel creamy with parsnip and meat jus for a fine introduction, butternut jus grilled as a resting time before the tartar of scallops (and cooked) cabbage beurre blanc juniper, a very interesting preparation, to go towards a little simplicity with mussels and chanterelles Auvergne ham then pike-perch carrots gray shrimp juice. The sweetbreads broccoli spinach and desserts (lemon coffee tarragon, praliné tonka) were also well prepared. Good level of service overall, well-stocked wine list, but a slightly vague suggestion by the glass.
