Gault&Millau's review 2025

Inaugurated in April 2022 after several years of renovation, this atypical address will delight all true nature lovers. Set in the heart of the Auvergne, in a 2.5-hectare forest, the 3 sumptuous cabins refer to the surrounding castles (Peydébé, Messilhac, Aulteribe...), all perched 3 or 6 m high. Each comfortable, refined cottage has its own dining area, bathroom and private spa, and can accommodate 2 to 6 people. Designed with the environment in mind, using wood from sustainable plantations and natural fiber insulation, these cabane-châteaux offer a warm and virtuous stay. Breakfast and meals throughout the day are all organic and local (the bread, divine, is homemade), and the water in the spas is dechlorinated and reused... An experience that you can happily extend by trying your hand at kayaking, horse-riding along the nearby Auvergne volcanoes, or taking a ride in a 2CV rented on site.
