Remarkable Restaurant Jérôme Nutile is the place to be for family dinners and important celebrations for the people of Nîmes. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and yet in a 100% Nîmes atmosphere, the local restaurant owner knows how to entertain; the lounges are very pleasant and quite intimate, and the service, led by Hugo, does what's needed in terms of efficiency and discretion, despite an almost complete turnaround since last year and some overly stuffy manners. After the festival of appetizers, asparagus with walnuts, flanked by foie gras ravioli glazed with asparagus purée and morel emulsion, red mullet and octopus from the sands are cooked in a casserole, spelt tied with fennel and orange zest, in a marine broth flavored with star anise, and lamb in declension is a remarkable classic. Beautiful lemon crystalline dessert, vodka-infused baba, olive oil with Menton lemon. A rich cellar, well mastered by sommelier Stefan Gorda, who recommends the bottle rather than the wine by the glass.
