Gault&Millau's review 2025

Close to the Magne Tower and the arena, this legendary hotel with its Art Deco façade recently became part of the Maison Albar Hotels luxury group, and has been given a new lease of life. Restored by Franco-Argentinian architect Marcelo Joulia, the 54 rooms and 7 private houses are designed as cocoons, combining designer furnishings, natural materials and soft colors. A charming refuge that also offers the delights of a swimming corridor, gardens refreshed by fountains and a spa with indoor pool and designer treatment rooms. Guests come here to recharge their batteries before savoring the cuisine imagined by prestigious chefs Pierre Gagnaire and Nicolas Fontaine, in three venues: the gourmet restaurant Duende, the brasserie L'Impé and the Bar Hemingway...
