Remarkable Restaurant Toulousans, who have so many opportunities to enjoy themselves, like us, love to treat themselves to an evening in the countryside, in this bucolic setting half an hour from the pink city, in this perfectly restored former farmhouse. We come all year round, promising to return the next year to enjoy the beautiful rustic-chic dining room, the terrace and the relaxing atmosphere, barely disturbed by the geese and turtle-doves. The menu offers a limited but sufficient choice, mixing signature dishes and creations of the moment, (excellent) seasonal vegetables and noble products (foie gras, truffles, lobster, caviar...), rustic dishes (the cassoulet) and more modern ones, particularly the elaborate desserts. Many thoughtful touches (appetizers, hors d'oeuvres, mignardises, homemade bread, olive oil...), quality overall despite a slight lack of coordination in the otherwise diligent service. Enormous wine list, put together by an excellent sommelier in keeping with the general tone (but no list of wines by the glass), with chef Franck Renimel, as active and committed as ever, never failing to make a tour of the room at the end of service.
