In the heart of this large outlying town, Monsieur Merville (Thierry in the kitchen) and Madame Merville (Claudie in the dining room) have been welcoming regular customers for over twenty years, who know that this is the best address in southern Toulouse for any occasion. It's easy to park, there's a terrace in fine weather, Claudie's welcome is impeccable, the pretty contemporary setting is comfortable, and the music is jazzy as can be. Thierry's cuisine is worthy of the two toques in the south-western style, with a real menu offering a wide choice and well-composed menus (including a blind tasting). Service is top-notch, with a well-stocked cellar featuring 200 references, although the wines by the glass are lacking (if you insist, we'll bring you a glass of white wine as a single choice).
