Chef's Restaurant The Hôtel du Golf is still there, a haven of peace for skiers and hikers in the Vercors. There's a cosy lounge with a large fireplace to warm the long winter evenings, and a wood-panelled dining room with a fireplace. On sunny days, you can enjoy the garden and the exceptional view. A new chef manager, Ludovic Nardozza, has replaced Guillaume Monjuré. Trained at the Lesdiguières school and with a wealth of experience, including at Girardon's Domaine de Clairefontaine, he won his spurs at the World Hare à la Royale Championship and other culinary competitions. His first restaurant with his partner Charlotte is therefore a fine challenge. The roasted Arctic char with lemongrass butter, organic Neuvic caviar and watercress is a winner: the delicacy of the accompaniments is enhanced by the slightly acidic sauce, with the flavors of the caviar and watercress complementing each other in harmony. The dessert is more creative, with a pumpkin mousse with Madagascar vanilla, hazelnut, citrus and ginger. A guaranteed visual effect for this yellow-orange domed composition, coupled with a gustatory festival inside. The service is discreet and the wine by the glass is particularly extensive. Two fine toques to start with.
