Exceptional Hotel The resort's loyal guests all have in mind the Hôtel des Grandes Rousses - a chalet suspended at 1830m and almost a century old. After several months of restoration, this refuge has retained the best of itself (the cocooning spirit of a real alpine chalet, splendid views over the resort and the peaks), only better. Here, we love everything: the red and copper colors of the lobby, the generous armchairs in the large lounge, the delights served at l'Espérance (the gourmet restaurant) or at la Ferme d'Hubert in a more bistronomic spirit, not to mention the Spa des Alpes with two pools (outdoor and indoor), a hammam, an aqua-sensory area, a sauna and cryotherapy and oligotherapy sessions. And the rooms? A total of 77 (not including the 18 suites and 3 lofts), divided between the old building and the more modern areas, they all exude warm, cosy luxury - blond parquet floors, wood-panelled walls, terraces and mezzanine for the largest, all of which can be adapted to suit families. In short, it's a no-brainer...
