Gault&Millau's review 2025

At once the oldest and the newest hotel in the resort. One of the most attractive in any case, set at an altitude of 1830m and designed like a traditional alpine chalet, with the added bonus of contemporary comfort. The 100-odd rooms are all different, with dark wood floors warmed by a palette of warm colors. All open onto the valley or resort, as does the beautiful ground-floor lounge, whose furnishings bear witness to the remarkable work of local craftsmen. Just a stone's throw away, the gourmet restaurant l'Espérance and Les Mas'Hauts offer excellent Savoyard cuisine based on local produce. Last but not least, discover the delights of the spa, with its indoor and outdoor pools, grotto hammam and sensory pool, all of which contribute to the quality and charm of this five-star establishment.
