Gault&Millau's review
2019
92/100
With its pale straw color and white gold highlights, this brut develops aromas of orange blossom and creamy white fruit. The mousse is whipped and creamy, and the bubbles are fine and crisp. Mineral and sapid, the palate is full of fresh citrus fruit aromas, with a long, salivating, iodized finish. The majority of Chardonnay makes this champagne a good aperitif companion, while the Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier make it a wine for the table, making it a wine to accompany the whole evening.

Today, this estate, which came from two families, the Nominé and the Renard, owns some twenty hectares. As early as 1900, the Renard grandfather began producing his own cuvées. Since then, the tradition has been perpetuated through a narrow range of champagnes aged for long periods in historic cellars dug into the chalk. Today, Claude and Simon Nominé oversee production.
