Mandois
The company's history dates back to 1735, when Jean Mandois, based in Épernay, became a winemaker in the Côte des Blancs. His great-grandson, Victor, began vinifying his wines in 1867, and moved to Pierry in 1905. Today, managed by Claude Mandois, the 9th generation, the company presses and vinifies its entire 37-hectare vineyard. Planted with 70% chardonnay, 20% meunier and 10% pinot noir, the vineyard is certified organic on 33 ha. A variety of containers, both in materials (stainless steel, enamel, wood and concrete) and in size, enable meticulous vinification adapted to each terroir.
