Mandois
The company's history dates back to 1735, when Jean Mandois, then based in Épernay, became a winemaker on the Côte des Blancs. His great-grandson, Victor, began vinifying his wines in 1867, and settled in the heart of the village of Pierry in 1905. Today, managed by Claude Mandois, the ninth generation, the company presses and vinifies its entire 37-hectare vineyard in Pierry. Planted with 70% chardonnay, 20% meunier and 10% pinot noir, 32 ha of the vineyard is certified organic. From the vineyard to the winery and the cellars, the family tradition and imprint reigns through patience and precision. A variety of containers, both in material (stainless steel, enamel, wood and concrete) and size, enable meticulous vinification adapted to each terroir.
