A limpide, golden robe coordinates with the dried and waxy yellow fruit nose (mango, pawpaw), vanilla, brioche and soft white creamy sponge cake. Finest bubbles are still fresh with a silky zesty mousse after nearly 20 years. The zingy, tingly palate is full of life and freshness, lovely concentration and balance, elegance and vivacity with some good bitter paw paw and roasted orange peel notes, and later some honey hints, and lingers beautifully with lovely lightness, a complete 2002.

Located in the commune of Passy-Grigny, Maison Lequart farms 11 ha from generation to generation. HVE (high environmental value) and VDC (sustainable viticulture in Champagne) certifications have been in place since 2019 and 2020 respectively. Between chardonnay, pinot noir, but above all pinot meunier, the search for fruit is paramount at the estate. All the wines are vinified by the village's union of producers, who have extensive technical resources at their disposal to ensure that the champagnes are made to perfection.
