Created in 1985 from a historic blend of 50% Pinot Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay, this cuvée offers a subtle, harmonious palette of aromas. Stone fruit and dried fruit combine admirably with a hint of honey and citron. The palate is rich and homogeneous, thanks to 30 months' ageing and a controlled dosage of 9 g/l. The underlying minerality punctuates a long, generous chew. Serve with just-seared veal kidneys and pan-fried wild mushrooms.
