JM Sélèque
Champagnes
Gault&Millau's review
The story of this Champagne estate began in the 60s, with Henri Sélèque and his father-in-law planting the first plots of land for the company. As the years went by, the idea of making their own champagne grew. In January 1969, they began selling their own bottles. Today, the family business, run since 2008 by Jean-Marc, cultivates 9 hectares of vines dominated by chardonnay (50%), closely followed by pinot meunier (40%) and completed by pinot noir, spread over 7 communes (including 3 classified as premier cru). Since 2015, a new wine-making site has opened in Pierry.
