This is a champagne for connoisseurs. After all, who cares about the reputedly weak 2013? Frédéric Savart goes against this idea and makes a cuvée composed of 40% Chardonnay and 60% Pinot Noir in this single vintage. The nose is superb, with notes of orchard fruit, citrus, fresh grapes and damp chalk. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, with just the right acidity and perfect dosage for superb drinkability. Wait a few months before opening.
