Above all, it's a blanc de blancs. But what a blanc de blancs! L'Amour de Deutz 2010 is made exclusively from Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs, and more specifically from the Grand Cru terroirs of Avize, Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Cramant and Villers-Marmery. The color is golden with green and silver nuances. Very fine bubbles form the mousse in the glass. The nose is of great finesse, with aromas of yellow peach, fresh butter, mirabelle plum, bergamot and yuzu. Endless. Smooth and creamy on the palate, with a fresh, fruity finish. Elegance above all! Enjoy it for two over a Japanese dinner.
