The wine shows a garnet-red colour with red-brick highlights. The restrained nose gradually opens to reveal notes of blackcurrant, redcurrant, blackberry and grey pepper. On the palate, the tannins are straight, with some initial astringency that later fades in the finish. This cuvée could be matched with fish stew.
