Chef's Restaurant It's a unique place, completely out of time, a house set on the Dronne, a succession of wooden bridges and country houses, where a bucolic and intimate atmosphere reigns. This succession of terraces and magnificently decorated rooms reflects Alain Gardillou's personal idea of a luxury hostelry, which continues in his dishes, where he faithfully and powerfully transmits regional recipes. These include timeless delights such as the perfect egg, béarnaise, mouillettes and Aquitaine caviar, fresh peas from the pod to the grain, braised sucrine and confit pork belly, roasted Dronne trout, celery in cabbage leaves and hazelnut butter, pasta with Périgord truffles, pan-fried escalope of foie gras with chives, a wellington of Périgord duck fillet with foie gras, pepper cubèbe sauce and port reduction, or a soufflé tart with lime, Périgord strawberries and lemon sorbet. Remarkable cellar, with over nine hundred references.
