Sponsored Just a stone's throw from the city center is Le Renaissance, an institution taken over in 2017 by Zurina Vidal Pérez. Chef Christophe Belmonte champions authentic, refined Southwestern cuisine, choosing seasonal, local dishes that are as far as possible organically grown and raised. His specialties, typical of the Landes region, include succulent foie gras au torchon, veal sweetbreads and duck breast, whose recipes evolve according to his imagination and mood. Chocolate profiteroles are one of the house's best-sellers. The creative à la carte menu is reinvented every two months, and is revealed on delicately presented plates. The sommelier has devised an attractive wine list featuring nectars from confidential producers discovered in France. As soon as spring arrives, why not take advantage of the shaded terrace with its panoramic view over the lake. Finally, for your relaxation, the hotel has 30 eco-labelled rooms, tastefully renovated in a natural, Zen atmosphere, as well as a swimming pool.
