Gourmet Restaurant Regulars at Le Mange-Grenouille appreciate the refined setting and friendly atmosphere, in an old-fashioned style with exposed beams and stonework, and a cuisine that's rather wise and meticulous, putting the basic ingredient in the spotlight, as in the skrei confit petals, bear garlic aioli and tarama, or the wood-grilled lamb fillet with thyme and lemon confit, accompanied for the whole table by succulent homemade pommes dauphines. For dessert, a touch of originality with corn in all its states, Mexican vanilla and hibiscus sorbet. A very warm welcome from the hostess, and a small but high-quality cellar at reasonable prices.
