Sponsored In the center of Paris, in the elegant Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, close to the famous Saint-Sulpice church and the Luxembourg gardens, Franck Lerno and Pisith Lor have taken over this magnificent 19th-century building with its old-fashioned, chic cachet. The terracotta floor tiles, exposed stonework and beams lend a special warmth to this convivial family restaurant, where groups are welcome. Pisith, the Chef, works on a revisited French cuisine, with Asian or Mediterranean accents, embellished with spices from around the world. While the restaurant's flagship dish is the Crying Tiger (a slab of rump steak with Charolais beef heart, basmati rice and Thai sauce), Pisith also suggests, depending on the season, a fabulous Scottish Label Rouge salmon tataki with teriyaki sauce and assorted vegetables, French duck breast with honey soy sauce, veal chop with morel mushroom sauce, or chicken couscous with dried fruit and red Tandoori spices. A true voyage of exotic flavors! Dare to try the homemade Valrhona® chocolate moelleux, to melt with pleasure... A new menu is created every six months, but suggestions for starters and dishes of the day are regularly added to the slate. Delicate flavors on colorful plates that your senses will remember... Bonus: vegetarian dishes are also available.
