You have to want it, to set up a restaurant in this corner of the 17th arrondissement, not far from Porte Pouchet. And what if Konvives had the power to awaken the neighborhood? Maxime Lellouche, formerly of Oxte, and his friend Nicolas Colonna, exiled to the Pinzutti from the island of Beauty, have taken up the challenge. The decor is restful and sunny, with blue banquettes and chairs, and the large slate is appealing and just what you'd expect: everything is cheerful and gourmet, from the good pate en croûte (pork, poultry, hazelnut, apricot...), the green asparagus espuma hollandaise, the perfect merguez egg piperade pois gourmands and the good duck breast served rosé with a crispy potato galette, onion confit, spinach and its juice... Our appetites are whetted by the desserts, which include fresh citrus fruits and brioche perdue, salted butter caramel and chantilly. We drink and listen to Corsican (the polyphony whets the appetite) thanks to Nicolas' wise advice.
