The 17th arrondissement continues to reinvent the hotel business, as demonstrated once again by Zoku Paris, the fourth address in the capital for this Amsterdam-based group. Aimed at business travellers, nomadic workers and local residents alike, the 3-storey, 16,000 m2 venue is as welcoming as it is spectacular, combining coworking spaces, a bar, a 24/7 restaurant (with a cheese and charcuterie corner), fitness and yoga rooms, not to mention a 900 m2 rooftop nestled among deckchairs and a sumptuous vegetable garden that feeds the restaurant. On the hotel front, the site is just as avant-garde. Gone are the traditional rooms, replaced by small lofts with living rooms, work and kitchen areas and king-size beds on the mezzanine. With this new concept, the Group has set itself the mission of combating the loneliness that often accompanies business travel, organizing community dinners and multiplying opportunities for interaction with locals.
