Gault&Millau's review 2026

This high-altitude bistro on Mont Valérien won't give you a view of the mountains, but of the towers of La Défense and Paris, thanks to its tastefully renovated former farmhouse, a mix of different materials, its huge bay window and its pink, blue and aniseed-colored armchairs. In the kitchen, Matthias Dru-Bathilde offers gourmet bistronomic dishes, with a touch of aromatic fantasy. Three formulas are offered: in the €49.90 menu-card, we open the festivities with a perfect egg with Bertelli bacon, roasted Jerusalem artichokes, Pink Lady apple, herb breadcrumbs and a smoked garlic emulsion, followed by veal breast confit with rosemary and smoke, with a burnt onion-lemon condiment and chimichurri sauce, and we finish with a citrus dessert, full of surprises, crispy tuile, walnut dacquoise, fennel cream, citrus sauce and pastis. Friendly staff, wine list a little too classic.
