Gourmet Restaurant A city classic that is back in the spotlight thanks to chef Olivier Polla, who has been continuing the adventure of this long-established Amphitryon for the past ten years. In this handsome red-and-white house on rue de la Boucherie, he offers a traditional menu, featuring fine products worked with finesse, such as scallop carpaccio with lobster jelly, poached foie gras with celery and granny mulled wine, or haute cuisine bourgeoise, such as hare à la royale. The Retour des Halles menu, at €34 served for lunch and dinner, is a good introduction to the house (leek and nori with smoked potato emulsion, grass-crusted skrei with albuféra sauce, butternut with caramel and gingerbread emulsion). A well-stocked cellar with some fine references (Château Simone, Trapet Alsace, Marjorie Gallet...).
