Original Restaurant Just 15 minutes from Grenoble, in the heart of the Chartreuse, this cosy little wooden chalet offers a cool setting in summer and a family ski resort atmosphere in winter. In the restaurant, Christophe Jail serves traditional French cuisine, in a homemade style that is the family's trademark. The poultry liver terrine is a grandmother's recipe, and the grilled sea bass fillet is served with a garden sorrel sauce. The highlight of the restaurant, for which it is famous, is the trolley of desserts, including île flottante, crème caramel and Chartreuse sabayon, among others. The starter-main course-dessert menu at lunchtime is €43, perhaps a little expensive, and the wine list is fairly basic.
