Chef's Restaurant In the heart of Bordeaux's Golden Triangle, this veritable institution since 1825 still enchants with its spectacular decor dominated by an imposing wall of natural rock classified in 1902. The place where Toulouse-Lautrec and Sarah Bernhardt used to hang out is now a living museum. The luminous dining room, with its widely spaced tables, offers an elegant ambience, enhanced by Art Nouveau decor and impeccable service. The young but professional brigade orchestrates attentive service under the expert eye of a passionate maître d'hôtel. Chef Younesse Bouakkaoui's cuisine is delicate and precise, offering simple, well-crafted creations in the first €45 menu, such as poached free-range egg with mushroom cream or pollack with Vichyssoise sauce. Desserts, such as Poire Belle Hélène, complete this refined culinary experience with a classic touch, accompanied by a wine list carefully compiled by a young sommelier eager to share his passion.
