Gault&Millau's review 2025

Inaugurated in 2019 and owned by the Boutique Hôtels Collection group, this 5-star hotel is already attracting rave reviews. Nestled in a late 19th-century Bordeaux shipowner's mansion, the hotel has retained its old-world charm, with a delightful courtyard featuring a swimming pool (in the heart of the city), intimate lounges and an admirable gourmet restaurant (Le Cercle de Montaigne) led by chefs William and Joey. The 28 rooms and suites have been decorated with discreet elegance: beautiful woodwork, contemporary tapestries and marble bathrooms, all opening onto small terraces, some with Jacuzzis. The latest addition to this haven of peace is a Nuxe spa offering a wide range of treatments and massages, including the "Ressourçant Nuxe Bio", ideal for re-energizing.
