Gault&Millau's review 2025

Inaugurated in 2019 and owned by the Boutique Hôtels Collection group, this 5-star hotel is already attracting rave reviews. Nestled in the mansion of a Bordeaux shipowner from the late 19th century, the hotel has retained all the charms of yesteryear: a delightful courtyard with a swimming pool (right in the heart of the city), intimate lounges and an admirable gourmet restaurant (La Table de Montaigne), which opens a new chapter in its history in 2024 with the arrival of talented chef Oli Williamson. The 28 rooms and suites have been decorated with discreet elegance: beautiful woodwork, contemporary tapestries and marble bathrooms, all opening onto small terraces, some with Jacuzzis. The latest addition to this haven of peace is a Nuxe spa offering a wide range of treatments and massages, including the "Ressourçant Nuxe Bio", ideal for re-energizing.
