Sponsored Since it opened last October, Halil and Fadime's restaurant has been packed to the rafters. Their recipe for success? A family atmosphere, a cosy setting and Turkish gastronomy at its best. In the kitchen, Fadime juggles fresh produce to create tasty, authentic home-cooked dishes. A true culinary escapade where earthenware dishes of eggplant purée, grilled meats cooked on lava stone and kebabs share the spotlight with the clientele. Here, the kebab is back in the limelight, with milk-fed veal in the starring role. Also on the menu are soups, mezze and the essential Beyti: a minced veal and lamb skewer served in lavash, the traditional bread cake. A real treat! On the sweet side, homemade desserts such as baklava, rice pudding and tiramisù are also well worth the detour. In the dining room, Fadime and her son take great care of their customers, offering expert advice and attentive service. An Art Deco-style dining room with wood panelling worthy of the Titanic is available for private hire. In fine weather, a pleasant terrace welcomes gourmets.
