Running a small gastronomic empire is no picnic, even when your name is Georges Blanc. The galaxy of the King of Vonnas has not been spared by the recruitment crisis either, but when its effects are felt as much as they are on his branch on the quays of Villefranche, it's not without consequences for the quality of service. With erratic service, botched plates and banal products, it's time to get a grip. The safest thing to do is stick to the €33 menu, which offers good value for money, provided you don't get too annoyed when your plate is swapped with that of the next table.
