Gourmet Restaurant An address recently taken over by Christelle Cauli and Jean-Charles Boulmier, two young people full of motivation to give a new color to this pretty inn near Romorantin. The young chef has a fine track record: Meneau, Les Templiers in Les Bézards, Le Vieux Logis in Trémolat, where he met Christelle. Not too much regional identity yet in the first menus, but a definite finesse on well-selected products: maigre en carpaccio fenouil salicorne crème aigrelette, cochon Roi Rose polenta piperade et piment doux fumé, fig rôtie granola vinaigre de cidre et glace au miel de Sologne in a pleasant formula at €34. The chef also offers a €45 menu, where he brings out the best in more sought-after products: foie gras, scallops, bass, mallard, depending on the season... The cellar will gradually be expanded, with good wines from the region, as this house, which already had a good reputation with the previous owners, is now ready to grow.
