For some years now, this has been Nevers' finest table, an institution where business meals and special occasions come naturally. Behind the discreet façade, Marie-Hélène welcomes you into an intimate setting, including a charming vaulted room, while Jean-Michel Couron imagines a fine gastronomic cuisine, serious and well-crafted. On the €57 menu: asparagus, organic soft-boiled egg cracked with mustard seed, shavings of duck foie gras and parmesan; filet of lean beef cooked on the skin, artichokes, miso, peanuts and capers; roasted veal, crushed cauliflower, shiitake and garlic confit, tonka bean jus.
