Gault&Millau's review 2025

One of the most beautiful châteaux in Burgundy, and also one of the oldest. Owned by a Polish queen in the 18th century, this imposing medieval building has preserved its turrets, marble-panelled stables and high walls, which surround the 156-hectare estate of meadows and forests... An ideal stopover for savoring château life, this refuge invites guests to settle down in its 5 ultra-comfortable rooms and suites with antique furnishings and floral fabrics, not to mention two gîtes perfect for a family stay. There's also a table d'hôte (reservation required) and a range of activities (table tennis, fishing in the pond), as well as an accrobranche circuit, canoeing on the Loire and a golf course in Magny-Cours.
