Chef's Restaurant Opposite the French National Assembly, Hémicycle reconciles almost all political persuasions. Stéphane Manigold, a connoisseur of public affairs, has created the ideal space for more or less confidential lunches. The space is uncluttered, sober and elegant, and the tables are spaced far enough apart to get through the day's business without being disturbed by your neighbors. The team is made up almost exclusively of Italian waiters and cooks, giving the place an obvious charm, and a certain class too. The menus are colorful, but also show where the products come from, and it's possible to have a good time in 1 hour, with the small Cecafumo menu, largely inspired by the treasures of the Rome market. Spaghetti with cuttlefish, kiwi and agastache, a pretty beet ravioli with hibiscus-infused whey, scallops presented in their shells, with a verbena, celeriac and yellow wine jus. Next, a small piece of skate wing is accompanied by mussels and saffron, and a tangy gremolata thickened with foie gras, a not necessarily useful delicacy... Before moving on to the desserts, you'll be amazed by this worked cheese, roquefort and white chocolate, and by this pretty sorbet with sage and a few peelings of fried black garlic. In this winter menu, the pastry chef seems to love Jerusalem artichokes, worked here with chocolate and mulled wine. We prefer this second version, smoked with clementine - it's diabolical! The wine list offers good choices from the most beautiful regions of France.
