Sponsored Look no further! The gourmet surprise you're looking for is just a stone's throw from Annecy's old town. Côté Prairie owes its warm spirit to Hervé Collomb and his fantastic team. The owner opens the doors to his large, mostly covered terrace, which leads to the restaurant's interior. The restaurant offers seasonal and Savoyard cuisine, with excellent dishes such as, in winter, pork chop with bacon jus or, in fine weather, homemade tartars and carpaccios. Local cheeses also play an important role. Hervé himself used to run the town's cheese institution, Freti. Reblochon, raclette and fondue cheeses, crozets and tartiflettes are a must. It's impossible not to mention Hervé's pride and joy, the Brisgotte, of which he is the creator: a surprise loaf cut and hollowed out at the top, into which a tasty melted Swiss cheese is poured.
