Sponsored Pauline Haquard and Guillaume Bena fell in love with this emblematic Bracieux restaurant, formerly run by prestigious chef Bernard Robin, and set themselves the challenge of taking it over. Situated on the edge of the Chambord state forest, this old building with its authentic cachet comprises a main dining room with tablecloths, another that can be privatized for groups, and a lounge-bar: three chic and relaxed atmospheres for you to try out at your leisure. At the piano, Chef Rodolphe serves seasonal cuisine on three menus, plus an à la carte daily menu and a vegetarian menu. His specialties? French and local dishes such as the famous beuchelle, a traditional Touraine delicacy of sweetbreads and kidneys in cream sauce, served with mushrooms and small potatoes, and the unmissable tarte Tatin. Some fifty top-quality French wines (from conventional to organic farming) will match the flavors of your favorite dishes. Outside, from spring onwards, you can enjoy the magnificent shaded terrace and pergola overlooking the pleasant walled garden.
