Gault&Millau's review 2025

Nestled in the heart of nature between Deauville and Honfleur, this hotel is spread across four charming buildings: the main Auberge with its red-brick facade, the Longère with its half-timbered walls, the Pavillon, which overlooks the ponds and gardens, and the Orée du Bois, on the edge of the forest. While each has its own character, all offer the same blend of refinement and rustic charm across their 19 rooms and 2 cottages, all beautifully decorated (with oak floors and rattan furniture). The massage rooms invite you to discover a range of organic treatments made with local apples, while the restaurant also celebrates authentic Normandy cuisine that highlights regional products, under the guidance of Chef Pierre Hanquez, supervised by Matthieu Pouleur, executive chef of the Collection Saint-Siméon. As a member of the Collection Saint-Siméon, this hotel is the ideal place to recharge and explore the surrounding treasures: the string of beaches and the villages of Cambremer and Beuvron-en-Auge.
