Gault&Millau Tour Centre-Val de Loire - Pays de la Loire 2026
On the occasion of the presentation of its latest guide to the Centre-Val de Loire - Pays de la Loire region, Gault&Millau honored the region's chefs and culinary professionals on Monday February 9, 2026.the event took place at the Abbaye de Villeneuve in Les Sorinières. The day before, winners and Gault&Millau partners attended a dinner at the restaurant L'Atlantide 1874 - Maison Guého.
In Christophe Hay's citrus greenhouse at Fleur de Loire

In the 18th century, during its golden age, the city was home to several hundred artisan vinegar makers. Today, Maison Martin-Pouret is the only company to have maintained this tradition since 1797.

Vignobles Edonis, the Loire Valley of the future
Since 1957, Cave Robert et Marcel has established itself as a key player in Saumur and Bourgueil wines. It recently decided to launch an umbrella brand called Vignobles Edonis. The aim is to make this terroir shine even brighter by bringing together other winegrowers.

What all these wines have in common is their fresh, easy-to-digest character, which makes them ideal for summer drinking.
