Six artisans and hotels with a gourmet commitment to Pink October

These establishments aren't just landmarks of refinement and gourmandise: they're also committed to Pink October, donating part of their profits to charities. Here's our selection of gala dinners, pastries and artistic tributes.

Gourmet Madeleine at Ritz Paris le Comptoir

At the Ritz Paris le Comptoir, the seasonal madeleine is adorned with a pink shell made from white chocolate and a pink bow. Throughout the month of October, this grapefruit-filled madeleine will adorn pastry shop windows. All profits from the sale of the madeleines will be donated to the association Tout le monde contre le cancer.

Charity dinner at Domaine les Crayères

For the 5thᵉ edition, Domaine les Crayères renews its commitment to cancer research and patient support. A charity dinner is being organized with the ambition of raising €100,000 for the Godinot Institute. It will be orchestrated by chef Christophe Moret and pastry chef Rosalie Boucher, whose dishes will be accompanied by champagne from five local winemakers.

Autumn tart from Claire Heitzler & Producteurs

Pastry chef Claire Heitzler has created an autumn tart for the Pink October campaign. This elegant creation combines the delicacy of quince with the floral notes of rose. In association with Tout le monde contre le cancer, €1 will be donated per pastry. Fleur d'Aphrodite combines crisp crumble, almond cookie, marmalade and quince brunoise, all carried by a rose mousse.

Refined tea time at Shangri-La Paris

The Shangri-La Paris offers a gourmet, refined and committed experience. Under the dome of the La Bauhinia restaurant, pastry chef Timothy Lam offers a tea time featuring five sweet dishes in the colors of the campaign. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Ligne contre le Cancer.

Art and gastronomy at the Peninsula Paris

Since the palace opened, the month of October has been synonymous with "Peninsula in Pink". A program that combines art and gourmet delights, in aid of the Les Bonnes Fées association, which supports women in their care. A tea time, signature desserts by Anne Coruble and two cocktails at the Bar Kléber have been created for the cause. A portion of each sale will be donated to the association. Works by artist Guillaume Sardin will also be on display at the Peninsula Paris throughout the month.

Sweet creations at Fleur de Loire

in Blois, chef Christophe Hay has come up with limited-edition pink creations, part of the proceeds from which will be donated to the Ligue contre le cancer du Loir-et-Cher et du Loiret. The Bella Rosa cocktail is available all month long at the Fleur de Loire bar, while four viennoiseries and pastries will be on sale at kiosks in Blois and Orléans.
